More Protein Bar Recalls
January 25, 2009
The protein bar recall is spreading more and more throughout North America. I even spoke with a supplement distributor in Europe Friday and he’s very concerned as they’ve been carrying peanut-flavored protein bars made in the U.S. for some time now. There are so many companies affected by this recall because many protein bars are made at only a few manufacturing plants. If one of these plants bought their peanut paste or peanut products from the contaminated source, all the peanut flavored bars they make for companies could be contaminated!

Damn, I just bought (and ate) 2 Supreme Protein bars at the airport in Toronto last Friday! Thank goodness I’ve survived so far, lol. It’s kind of crazy though because even after the recall, I noticed that every convenience store I went into was still selling the Nature’s Path and Supreme bars.
I bought a big 100 met-rx protein bar the other day. it was peanut butter flavor. I ate about half of it 2 days ago. I have never been so sick. I have been vomiting for a solid day now. I believe this should be a recalledd product. I would warn whomever to buy this bar. Thanks
